Business

As every Executive knows, organisations are under greater pressure than ever to improve productivity and yet the return on their efforts continues to decline.

As a result, leaders across industry are looking for something new. Something that will power every facet of their business to give it an enduring edge in the market.

If you are serious about improving the performance of your business, our unique Performance Optimisation Process™ is the answer.

Learn more

Just like a sports team, your people are the key to your organisation's success.

For this reason, equipping them with the tools to out-perform your competitors is the most powerful way to achieve long-term competitive advantage.

Unlike conventional training, our process enables organisations to transform the performance of their entire workforce using a single solution.

Our process

Our Performance Optimisation Process™ is a unique high performance framework for business.

Originally developed to help athletes win on the world stage, it has been further refined to help organisations optimise the performance and productivity of their people.

How it works

Our process consists of five sequentially deployed frameworks that enable organisations to improve the most critical elements of their business using a single solution.

What it means for your business

Our end-to-end process enables organisations to improve the performance of every facet of their business using the same methodology, rather than trying to use disconnected tools and systems, as is most often the case.

Sport

Sport

As every athlete knows, winning matters.

For this reason, developing the capability to out-perform the competition is paramount.

If you are ready to take your sport or team to the next level, our unique Performance Optimisation Process™ is the answer.

Learn more

In this day and age, the success of both teams and sporting organisations alike rests on their ability to win.

Today, getting ahead of the competition is top of mind for sporting administrations globally. While it’s obviously the difference between winning and losing on the day, a team’s ability to stay in front is critical to its future.

Although our process has long been considered by athletes as the best performance improvement programme on the market, the introduction of our Performance Optimisation Process™ allows sporting bodies to transform the performance of their entire organisation.

Our process

Our Performance Optimisation Process™ is a high-performance framework for professional teams and national sporting organisations alike.

Originally developed to help individual athletes win on the world stage, it has been enhanced to improve the performance of every person in an organisation.

This includes the transformation of national sporting organisations wanting to lift their profile and individual teams wanting to improve their competitiveness.

How it works

Our process consists of five interlinked frameworks that enable teams (and organisations) to improve the performance of every aspect of their operation.

What it means for your team or sport

Our end-to-end process enables organisations to improve the performance of every facet of their operation using the same methodology, rather than trying to use disconnected tools and systems for different roles, as is most often the case.

Government

Government

As the cost of delivery increases, Governments around the world need to improve the quality of services they provide.

Today, tax payers not only want and need answers to complex social challenges, those responsible for delivering them need to be clearer about their purpose and the value they add to stakeholders.

If you are committed to improving the outcomes your service provides, transforming the culture of your organisation is vital.

Learn more

We believe people are the key to an organisation’s success and therefore the answer to its problems.

To deliver more effective solutions, executives need to change the conversation they are having with their people so they understand the purpose of the service and what success looks like in their role.

Unlike conventional training, our Performance Optimisation Process™ changes the way organisations think and ultimately how they behave.

What we do

We help State Services and Government Agencies improve the performance of their people using a unique process we initially developed for elite athletes.

Since introducing this process, executives say it has not only provided the solution they’ve been looking for, it has helped them realise a universal shift in workplace performance and engagement.

How it works

Our process consists of five sequentially deployed frameworks that enable organisations to improve the performance of every facet of their operation.

What it means for your organisation

Our end-to-end process enables organisations to improve the performance of their entire operation using the same methodology, rather than trying to use disconnected tools and systems, as is most often the case. This approach not only reduces cost and complexity, it improves staff uptake and engagement in the solution.

Customer deployments

Below is a sample of organisations who have deployed our process to help them advance.

New Zealand Police

The New Zealand Police commissioned us to help them transform the performance of its 12,500 staff following a public tender to provide an organisation-wide high performance framework.

The programme commenced in December 2015 and will be rolled out to all 12,500 Police employees over three years

Experts have described the Policing programme as one of the biggest and most important performance improvement programmes in New Zealand's history.

Fonterra Brands

Fonterra Brands invited us to help them improve the performance of its 1300 employees following a strategic review in February 2008.

Once the strategic platform was agreed, we deployed our Performance Optimisation Process™ to help them transform the organisation’s performance across its seven national sites.

The introduction of our process resulted in an unprecedented improvement in staff performance and engagement, 20% increase in market share, an increase in innovation generated revenue from 2% to 16%, profit growth of over 30% and an improvement in their Health & Safety status from one of Fonterra’s worst performers to one of its best.

Tip Top

Tip Top commissioned us to help them deliver a step-change in performance following a strategic review of its operation in 2004.

This led to a business-wide deployment of our Performance Optimisation Process™ which resulted in a significant shift in workplace performance and productivity.

The improvements Tip Top made prompted Fonterra to hand the running of Peters & Brown Ice Cream Company in Australia to them before the entire business was folded under Fonterra Brands New Zealand to maximise efficiencies across the group.

The Tip Top programme led to the invitation to assist Fonterra Brands in 2008.

U Bank

UBank is an independent digital only bank owned by the National Australia Bank.

After working through a rebranding exercise, the leadership team commissioned us to help them drive the transformation programme they were after to realise the banks potential.

UBank’s vision to be 'Australia’s most referred brand’ requires a high degree of staff engagement; hence its people are seen by the leadership team to be the key to its long-term success.

UBank’s leadership team selected SPS because they believed our process will give their people the tools to out-perform their competitors.

Hamilton City Council

The HCC commissioned us following a public tender process to help them realise a universal shift in workplace performance and engagement.

Although its staff of 1,000 are both competent and productive, the Senior Leadership Team believed they had the potential to add even greater value to the residents of Hamilton City hence they agreed to proceed with a performance transformation programme.

After going to market, they believed our end-to-end process offered the most powerful way to achieve the transformational outcomes they were after.

Fronde

We were invited to help Fronde Systems Group improve its workplace performance and engagement in January 2007 following a decline in investor confidence.

After helping the organisation create and embed a new strategy, we deployed our Performance Optimisation Process™ across the business to help them deliver it.

This led to revenue growth each year thereafter hitting 100% in 2012 and a net profit increase of 145% in 2013. They delivered the second highest Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) in the IT sector (166.8%) and achieved the 3rd highest rating in New Zealand’s 'Top Ten Companies to Watch’ list (TIN) the same year.
